Maria Levato is a 28-year-old, indie romantasy author. Her titles include The Fate of Angels and Demons (forthcoming, 2026), Journey to Rallem (2025), and The Islands of Rune (2023).

Where can I buy your work?
My booksare widely available. I’m encouraging people to buy from Bookshop, but you’re welcome to buy from Barnes and Noble, Amazon, or any other retailer you choose.

The only exception to this is the special edition of my upcoming release, The Fate of Angels and Demons. It will only be available via direct ordering through this website. Ordering for readers is not yet live.

I'm with a bookstore. Where can I order your books?
Both books are available to order through Ingram. Retailers and libraries will get a standard discount on orders.
This only exception to this is the special edition for The Fate of Angels and Demons. Bookstores who wish to stock it should order directly through this form for wholesale purchasing (release is not until 4/1. I'm with a library. Do your books have LCCNs?
Yes! The Fate of Angels and Demons (2026) and Journey to Rallem (2025) both have LCCNs. The Islands of Rune, unfortunately, does not.

What other authors inspire your work?
There’s no doubt that Rumika Takashi, the manga artist behind Inuyasha inspired my writing, but I have more recent inspirations as well. Authors like Amber V. Nicole and Harley Laroux inspire me every day. While the two authors have vast differences between their equally brilliant writing, both have inspired my work in their own way. Their fierce love for their readers and authentic passion for diversity also means they inspire me as a person, not just on the page.
